    Is it paramahansa yogananda? Autobiography of a Yogi was one of the first books my grandfather gave me around pre-teen , can’t remember. My second book on spirituality after Sri Ramakrishna paramahansa. Autobiography of a Yogi makes you wonderstruck with awe ….at India – the land of saints who reached the highest realms of consciousness…..who still exist unbeknownst to us… Thanks for this beautiful quote Nomad 🙏🙏

      Yes, it is! I’ve discovered him recently and I am currently doing Kriya yoga course with his foundation SRF. How amazing that you received his book so early in your life! Your grandfather must have been an exceptional person. Thank you for your comment!

        Yes he was , other philosophers recommended by him are Jiddu krishnamurti , Sri Ramana Maharshi, Ramakrishna paramahansa….. I am exploring Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy now .His sonnets and the book an Adventure in consciousness can provide a glimpse into his integral yoga . Many of his works are free online… Hope to try kriya yoga some day . Thanks again , for your insightful blog 🙏
