Slowing Down In The New Year

I am noticing quite a few ‘slow down’ initiatives early this year. I already blogged about Bruce Kasanoff’s Think Clearly challenge (you have to do nothing, be still for 10min each day). I came across two more.

One moment meditation looks interesting. And if you want to declare war on your inbox, try taking this pledge or try SaneBox, it’s a paid for app with free trial. I tried it and I am impressed enough to start paying for it.

I am actually combining two – Think Clearly pledge and meditation. I’ve installed several meditation apps and I spend 10min on my morning commute or during lunch meditating. I love it and I can see the effects.

Are you trying to slow down in 2014? What strategies are you using?
