Cute, Crafty, Royal, Happy

Who does not imagine being a royal? Forget the girlie princess fantasies, I assume even guys, or some guys, do it too – the power, the riches, the jewels must have the appeal. I’ve never been a princessy type as a child, but I’ve always been obsessed with the royal jewellery, namely crowns. My favourite must be an ancient Afghan crown which is part of their treasure collection – it’s so beautiful, yet simply made. I spent a lot of time in front of it to understand how it is made and how it can be replicated. One day, my friends, one day 🙂

There is an easier, more affordable and cute version that I’ve discovered recently. If you have kids (or an inner kid), this should make them (you) happy. Or make one as a decoration, and put it around a glass with pencils or something.

This web site is amazing actually. Check out their other DIY toys made using recycled materials! Cool.
