I may be posting some obvious things under Lifehacking, in which case bear with me. I am only a beginner.

As I continue looking for what to do next, I decided to try out freelancing, thank you very much, Elance. I am working on my first project, marketing to Gen Y. I needed PowerPoint but there was no way I was paying Microsoft prices. I tried installing an alternative for free, I know, stupid, and installed some malware in the process 😦  Then had to figure out how to remove it, thank God, I did not need to do anything with my PC register, as I would have had no idea what I was doing (I tried). Here are instructions for a cure, just in case… Never again.

So I looked around and apparently I should have given up PPT ages ago! Five best alternatives here and if they are not alternative enough 🙂  then even more here. Oh how I longed to say these words – bye-bye MS PowerPoint!!! Hello Google Docs and Keynote.
